I’ve continued illustrating projects for the Magic the Gathering and D&D lines, but mostly I’ve been working on illustrations for an educational children’s book about Thailand’s clouded leopards. “The Clouded Leopard’s Secret” is written by zoologist Karen Povey and will be published in a double language editon --Thai and English -- late in 2008. It’s destined for free distribution to students in communities surrounding Khao Yai National Park to increase awareness of clouded leopards and the techniques of wild cat field research, and to promote conservation. Because the text will be presented in both languages, the book can also be used in local schools as an English-language teaching aid.

I’m incredibly excited to be promoting conservation and and to be working on a project featuring these beautiful and endangered cats. I want to share my work on this project with folks as it becomes available.
